Our motto, "Non scholae, sed vitae discimus" ("We do not learn for school, but for life") is inspired by the Roman philosopher, writer, and statesman Lucius Annaeus Seneca. In one of his letters, he says that much teaching is "not for life, but for school", criticizing an education that remains theoretical. The ideal that Seneca speaks of is that learning should be practical and form character, judgment and competencies for life, and not just to carry a diploma. It is this thought, uttered thousands of years ago, that corresponds to the views of MT&M College. We strive to build experts who will acquire competencies that serve them in practice and life.
